How to Manage Trusted Websites

When browsing the internet, Total WebShield will block access to any dangerous websites you attempt to visit. Sometimes, you may want to visit one of these blocked websites. That's why Total WebShield offers our feature: Manage Trusted Websites so that you can whitelist any blocked site you wish to visit.

Within this article, you will learn how to:

Whitelist a Blocked Website

On the website that you would like to whitelist do the following:

Go to the website that's flagged by Total WebShield

Click the Check Box

Click Vist Website

You have now successfully marked that the website is safe to visit on your Total WebShield account. The next time that you visit this website Total WebShield will not block this site

Remove a Whitelisted Website

If you have whitelisted a website and you want to unmark it as safe on your Total WebShield extension, follow these steps:

Open the Total WebShield Extension

Click Manage Trusted Sites

Find the site that you want to remove

Click the X

A notification will pop up to confirm that you have removed the website from your whitelist.
